U.S. Congressman Derrick Van Orden(R-WI)

House Committee on Agriculture, House Armed Services Committee, DOGE Caucus

Congressman Derrick Van Orden proudly represents the people of Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022. During his time in office, Derrick has focused on providing for farmers, veterans, and servicemembers, and has been a staunch advocate for fiscal responsibility and accountability in Washington.

In Congress, Derrick serves on the House Agriculture Committee, House Veterans Affairs Committee, and House Armed Services Committee.

Prior to his time in Congress, Derrick served in the United States Navy, retiring after 26 years as a Navy SEAL Senior Chief with multiple combat tours. 

He served in the Horn of Africa, Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. During his tour in Europe in 2012, he was responsible for planning Special Operations contingency operations for the European Continent.

Derrick and his wife, Sara Jane, live in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.
