Matt Dickinson is a retired US Navy Master Chief entering the private sector as a senior operations manager with Amazon fulfillment; several years later, Matt switched industries and assumed the Director of Maintenance and Repair role for Fenix Marine Services Pier 300 in the Port of Los Angeles. While in this role, he transitioned the entire terminal away from fossil fuel. Matt deeply understands the problem and the outcome if we fail to address climate change. He is currently the Director of Sustainability for Fenix. Since then, Fenix has eliminated 67,000 Metric Tons of CO2(annually) while testing the world’s first H2FC Cargo Handlers. He is also the CEO of Green Port Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in decarbonizing port operations.
