Mary Anne Brelinsky

Mary Anne Brelinsky currently serves as President and Chief Commercial Officer of Alpha Generation, the ArcLight affiliate tasked with executing commercial, financial, and operational functions for Arclight’s power fleet. ArcLight owns nearly 25,000 MWs of generation capacity, enough to power roughly 20 million homes across the United States.
Prior to ArcLight, Mary Anne spent fifteen years with EDF, the world's largest utlity and producer of electricity. As President at EDF, she was responsible for EDF Trading and EDF Energy Services, a top 3 retail business in North America. She has been recognized as one of the industry’s Thought Leaders by the Energy Thought Summit, received the Houston Business Journal’s Women in Energy Leadership Award, and the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Breakthrough Woman award.
Prior to EDF, Mary Anne held positions with Reliant Energy where she managed the Structuring and Pricing Desk and developed power products for Reliant’s Large Commercial and Industrial clients.
Mrs. Brelinsky started her career with the Exxon Chemical Company where she held several engineering and operations positions at the Baytown Olefins Plant. While at Exxon she earned her MBA and in 2000 accepted a position with Dynegy where she managed large cogeneration power plants, developed strategies, and traded commodities.
Mrs. Brelinsky served on the Board of Directors for First Reserve Sustainable Growth Corp (“FRSG”) as well as Atlas Scholars, the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, University of Houston’s Energy Advisory Board, the Rensselaer Texas Triangle Executive Council, and the Renewable Energy Alliance of Houston. She earned an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Magna Cum Laude and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
